Bastille Bastille (1992 - 2006), a Lab/Pitly something, is where it all started. She was my introduction to training dogs and to Pit Bulls. As a young dog she had that broad pitly chest, was tough as nails and appeared to be powered by atomic energy. |

Bastille was my first dog and like so many of us with challenging dogs she taught me more than I could have ever imagined. Bastille was also my first demo dog. Every one in class just loved her and believed she was perfect. Little did they know how much work it took and how much abuse she had to endure for us to get there. I will always be grateful to my incredibly strong and stoic Basti dog. Amazingly active to her dying day, her favorite activity was playing frisbee at the beach. |
